What’s so Important about Snow Days?

Snow Day!

What I love about snow days is this forced slowing down. A chance to say, “Wait a minute. What’s really important to me right now?”

To light a fire in the fireplace.

Watch the downpour of snowfall.

Go outside for a quick minute to make a snow angel.

Then make chai tea.

And write!

Because I’m inspired by all of these deliciously cozy elements converging on my day.

What great fortune!

The saying goes — fortune favors the bold, the brave, the strong.

What does being bold, brave, and strong mean anymore?

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of being bold?

Is it rough and tough?

What about boldly going into those places that others have told you are not worth it or could never happen for you?
